Cooking Cape Cod Style!

March 9, 2009

ccodcookingcookingclassThe Falmouth Resorts hosted their first ever, cooking series featuring local Celebrity Chef John Marcellino & his wife/co-host  Robin, of  “Cape Cod Cooking”.  Chef John & Robin are regulars on Cable Television and have been featured on Boston’s Channel 7 (WHDH) “The Dish” as well.  As the Chef & spokesperson for Roche Bros. Supermarkets as well as a native of the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe, Chef John shared with our guests a little bit of history of the food of Cape Cod as well as a sampling of three popular Cape Cod seafood dishes.
-Stuffed Clams (Chef John Wamp Hogs)
-Sauteed Sea Scallops
-Baked Local Schrod
With an always “topped off” glass of wine, our guests had a great time learning simple ways to prepare these items in an extremely intimate and relaxing setting.

New In-Room Additions To Cape Properties

March 3, 2009

kaba-ilcosafeisound-spaInnSeason Resorts – Surfside & Captain’s Quarters have a couple of new amenities for our guests to enjoy.  I am pleased to let owners & guests know that we have added new RF (radio frequency) Locks to both properties which not only brings us into the new millenium with the latest in locking technology, but will allow us to secure your property better & give owners the “peace of mind” they deserve when on vacation.  All guest rooms & common doors will feature these new locks.  The new RF Door Locks work on the same technology as “Fastlane” or “EZ-Pass” at highway toll plaza’s.

Another upgrade that we hope our owners & guests will find useful are In-Room Safes.  Both properties have installed these safes to provide a secure place to keep valuables while staying with InnSeason Resorts.  From, laptops to jewlery, we recommend that you use your In-Room Safe while with us & better yet, there is no charge for the use of the safes.

Lastly, we have upgraded all units with an iHome docking station for your iPod or mp3 player.  These docking stations are a multi-function machine that not only allows you to play music from your favorite library of music, they also feature an alarm clock, FM radio & ambient (white) noise to assist with a good nights rest.
