Winter at Plimoth Plantation? You bet! Our outdoor sites may be hidden under a blanket of snow, but our Visitor Center is open and brimming with hands-on family activities. Every day features drop-in activities like writing with quill pens, trying on Pilgrim clothes, making Wampanoag-style clay pots and playing Wampanoag games. Little ones can exercise their imaginations in our Discovery Station while their bigger brothers and sisters stage a kids’ version of a Shakespeare play. Each day also features an interactive Wampanoag or Colonial music program. Wednesday is archaeology day with special (indoor!) archaeology activities for kids of all ages.
While you’re here, make sure to visit the Craft Center and check out the Museum shop. Snacks will be available. Please note that children must be accompanied by an adult and that the living history sites are not open. Break out of the winter doldrums and make Plimoth Plantation part of your February vacation! $8 per person, $6 members. Admission includes all activities.
