Captain Dick’s Green Pond Fish Market – Review

March 4, 2012

Enjoyed a wonderful meal from Captain Dick’s Green Pond Fish Market last night.  Not only are they a fish market, they cook food as well!  We called in for take-out, and it was ready not long later.  We ordered the fish & chips plate and the shrimp scampi dinner.  It was great!  The plate came with fries and coleslaw, the fish was very mild and cooked well.  The shrimp were on the smaller side (perfect for me!) and were excellent.  We also got two stuffed quahogs.  They were good, however my favorite stuffies (as I like to call them) are from The Clam Man on Gifford St. in Falmouth.  The Green Pond Fish Market also offers fried clams, calamari, fried shrimp and scallops, sides (mozzarella sticks, sweet potato fries etc.), lobster, smelt and so much more!  They are located next to Kenyon’s Market off Route 28 in East Falmouth, and if driving from the resort on the beach roads it would only take about ten minutes to get there.  If you are visiting Falmouth- stop by and enjoy some good seafood at Captain Dick’s!
