Summer is coming to and end! Grab your Clubs and head to Falmouth.

For those of us that live and work here…we breath a sigh of relief. Traffic eases up. We can get into our favorite restaurants without making a reservation two weeks in advance. And the air is…well perfect. Still warm and sunny…and the beach is still a perfect escape, but the nights are cooler.  That said…what are some of our favorite things?

Golf. Cape Cod has great golf courses (and most drop their weekday rates after Labor Day), and Falmouth is no exception.

Falmouth Country Club

A challenging 27-hole, year-round, public course not far from beaches, cranberries and all that is Cape Cod. Walk or ride the championship 18 hole, par 72 course, or enjoy the 9 hole, par 37 “Talon” course. Flat terrain, lush fairways and our immaculate greens will bring out the best in your game.

And right now…InnSeason Resorts HarborWalk has a special including tee times at this local favorite.

Cape Cod Country Club

This golf course was laid out with an interesting variety of undulating fairways and subtly sloped greens wandering through a landscape with charming vistas of lakes and woods. Home of 3 USGA Massachusetts Opens and the annual host of the Cape Cod Senior Open golf tournament.

Ballymeade Golf Course

Ballymeade’s championship 18-hole golf course is known for its scenic views of Buzzards Bay and excellent playing conditions.  It holds Golf Digest’s coveted 4-star rating.

And there are more…Paul Harney’s a great “executive” course. And some on the way on the Cape. Pinehills and Waverly Oaks in Plymouth And Brookside in Bourne.

What can we say…we are literally the perfect spot for a golf get-a-way. Grab your clubs and head to Falmouth this Fall.
